A Soul-Satisfying Stay in Manchester Village

A Soul-Satisfying Stay in Manchester Village

June 5 2020

At Kimpton Taconic Hotel, reopened as of Friday, June 5, heartfelt human connections are at the center of everything we do. We know when you stay with us, you‘re looking for an incredible travel experience as well as peace of mind. We’ve enhanced our health and cleaning protocols to make sure that our hotel, restaurant, and bar continue to be safe, welcoming spaces for everyone.

Here are the specific measures we’re taking in our shared spaces, guest rooms, meeting/event spaces, and restaurants: http://www.kimptonhotels.com/Clean

One of Manchester’s newest lodging options, Kimpton’s Taconic Hotel has set standards high in all areas of hospitality. Inspired by Vermont’s grand inns of the late nineteenth and early-twentieth centuries, Taconic greets its guests with clapboard architecture and a grand front porch just begging to be relaxed upon. Soothing earth-tone palettes, curated local artwork and mountain vistas combined with gracious extras like luxurious Frette linens, plush bathrobes and local craft spirits make staying in any of the Taconic’s guest rooms, suites and cottages an unforgettable experience.

Also in the main house, the Copper Grouse Restaurant & Bar has become a quick favorite with locals and visitors alike, offering a diverse blend of updated, yet unpretentious, classics in the regional New England culinary tradition. Locally sourced ingredients, hand-picked wines, craft-brewed beers and local spirits; need we say more?

PRAISE

“The new Taconic Hotel will be a huge success if they continue to spoil their guests. From arrival to departure the team at the Taconic was very attentive and sincerely interested in ensuring their guests enjoy their experience. I had a small issue with my room which the staff addressed immediately and upgraded my room without a fuss. Tom, Liz and Moe all did a great job. The Hotel interior and rooms are designed in an elegant rustic decor that is warm and relaxing. The rooms are sized well and nicely appointed. The beds were very comfortable and the Frette linens were indulgent. The bathrooms are nicely tiled with large showers. The onsite Copper Grouse restaurant was exceptional and made more enjoyable knowing they source their ingredients locally. Both the wait staff and the kitchen did an impeccable job. Looking forward to returning.”
